Aggregates and Paving Estimator

About The Position

B.H. Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Aggregates and Paving Estimator to complete a full range of business activities in a professional setting while adhering to the highest ethical standards. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for base and paving projects, conducting takeoffs and pricing for base layers, asphalt paving, and related tasks. This position is located in either our North Salt Lake or Ogden office. As an Aggregate and Paving Estimator, you will earn a salary of $110,000-$140,000 (Depending on Experience), which is paid weekly. You will also be eligible for benefits including health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401k plan with a match, and paid time off (PTO).

Requirements

Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar field, or equivalent construction experience
3-5 years of previous Aggregates and Paving estimating experience is required
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, and owners
Ready to learn estimating processes including bid invitations, takeoffs, estimating software, plan and specification review
Experience with Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Planswift, TBC, Agtek and Estimate(B2W)
