Do you want to use your belt service, fabricator and / or conveyor knowledge and selling skills to help solve customer problems, answer their questions to build sales and customer satisfaction? As an Aggregate Specialist at Applied Industrial Technologies, you will use your strong customer service and technical skills to train, implement, execute solutions, and help develop specific marketing programs. You'll spend time interacting with our team of Account Managers and their customers to determine their opportunities to improve productivity and get better equipment life and provide solutions to meet that need. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention, and sales results!

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working or providing solutions into the Aggregate industry.
  • Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
  • Ability to read / understand technical drawings
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Able to pass background check, drug test & DOT physical.
  • MSHA Training.
  • Must be at least 21 yrs old
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Listening, negotiating, and effective questioning skills
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems
  • Ability / desire to travel 5-8 nights/month

Nice To Haves

  • Training or presentation experience, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in the Northern Georgia area
  • Coordinate Aggregate Industry product initiatives with various Service Centers and Regional Managers
  • Develop technical based presentations to both internal associates and customers
  • Conduct training for both internal associates and customers
  • Make independent sales calls and joint sales calls with the field sales staff
  • Assist in plant and storeroom surveys; interchange information, case histories, documented value-added benefits, and application data
  • Partner in setting – and meeting/exceeding - sales target goals and execution
  • Participate in all tasks related to servicing aggregate accounts.
