About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role leads daily plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production of aggregates. The Aggregate Plant Manager drives a strong safety culture through proactive leadership, coaching, and compliance with all safety regulations. They optimize plant performance by managing costs, production targets, and quality standards. Additionally, they develop, mentor, and engage team members to build a high-performing, accountable workforce and partner with maintenance and support teams to ensure equipment reliability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a production or industrial environment.
  • Strong operational and problem-solving capabilities with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills across diverse teams and stakeholders, while holding team accountable.
  • Ability to analyze data, make sound decisions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of aggregate operations, heavy equipment, pit development and plant processes.
