About The Position

This role involves operating equipment on the product line, ensuring the product meets specifications and maintaining high quality. It requires leadership skills and the ability to keep accurate and legible records. A maintenance background is a plus, but not essential.

Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and correct situations
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring that the product being packaged is in spec and working with the QA and Granule Operators to make a quality, cost-effective product
Check scales and tote weights at the beginning and during the shift
Responsible for meeting all QA specifications on all finished products, including physical attributes as well as proper labeling for all totes
Precise note and date keeping
Responsible for housekeeping and general appearance of the agglomerate line and the surrounding area
Check at the start of shift and during product changes that the tote, date code, stickers, etc. are correct for the product that they are running
Practice good safety practices at all times
Keep the Food Service supervisor informed of progress and/or problems
Complete other responsibilities deemed necessary by the supervisor
Responsible for accurately measuring ingredients and recording traceability information
