Agentic AI Software Engineer
About The Position
As an artificial intelligence (AI) software engineer, you will develop user-focused solutions that increase organizational efficiency and enable better decision making. Booz Allen is a leading provider of AI services, and this role involves creating AI and machine learning (ML) solutions to help solve clients' toughest problems. You will create and implement complete end-to-end solutions that modernize client systems, ensuring that your team’s solutions consider the broader ecosystem and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements. Additionally, you will deepen your skill set in areas like cloud and DevOps engineering, with a focus on transforming space systems for the better with AI technology.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production-level AI or ML systems, including Large Language Models (LLMs), agents, or complex automation frameworks
- 3+ years of experience with Python and Python tools, including Pandas or NumPy
- Experience with LLMs, ML, Deep Learning (DL), and Reinforcement Learning (RL)
- Experience with tools and AI agent frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or LangChain
- Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
- Experience connecting agents to APIs, cloud platforms, or databases
- Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 10+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
- Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire date
Nice To Haves
- Experience with the administration of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Kubernetes, Docker, or Jenkins
- Master’s degree
- ML, AI, or Solution Architecture Certification
