The developer will create AI agents and integrations for enterprise applications and existing IVR platforms, including conversational workflows that understand intent, maintain context, and execute multistep tasks. The role also contributes to secure, accessible, and compliant solutions for federal customers, and works with engineers, architects, analysts, and customer stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline and 12+ years of relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, subject to contract requirements.
  • Hands-on software development experience using Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience developing or integrating AI/ML solutions, conversational AI applications, or LLM-powered systems.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise application integration.
  • Understanding of Agentic AI concepts, including agent orchestration, tool calling, context management, and automated workflows.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with NLP, speech recognition, and conversational AI technologies.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet customer-specific suitability and background investigation requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience developing Agentic AI applications using LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience developing and integrating IVR or contact center applications using Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, Genesys Cloud, Twilio, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, OpenAI APIs, or other enterprise LLM platforms.
  • Experience developing voice-enabled AI agents and integrating speech-to-text and text-to-speech technologies.
  • Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and semantic search capabilities.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless architectures.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, AI guardrails, and responsible AI development practices.
  • Experience integrating AI applications with legacy enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements, including NIST 800-53, FISMA, and secure software development practices.
  • Experience supporting federal government customers, particularly civilian agencies.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Responsibilities
