We are seeking motivated, entrepreneurial individuals to join our team as Agents in Training. This role offers more than a sales opportunity—it’s a starting point toward future agency ownership. You will gain practical experience, personalized mentorship, and access to the renowned University of Farmers , allowing you to develop the expertise and business acumen to potentially own your own Farmers Insurance agency in the future. As an Agent in Training , you'll work under the guidance of Darian Taliaferro , an experienced agency owner, to learn the essentials of building and managing a successful insurance business. You’ll receive comprehensive training in sales, client relationships, operations, and leadership, setting you up for eventual agency ownership. While helping clients protect what matters most—across Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Specialty lines —you’ll expand your knowledge, build confidence, and grow your own client base, preparing you for future agency leadership. This career path begins with training and support and culminates in the opportunity to own and operate a Farmers Insurance agency .

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
  • Entrepreneurial drive and desire for agency ownership
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Willingness to obtain (or current possession of) state insurance licenses ( Property & Casualty, Life & Health )

Nice To Haves

  • Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
