Requirements

  • AEC/DEP or equivalent in education and mandatory experience in air cargo
  • 3 to 5 years of customer service
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and oral, because this position serves clients and communicates with suppliers outside Quebec.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team-oriented, organized and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail, a sense of urgency and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate air import activities to enable fast, courteous and efficient customer service at the best cost to the company and customers.
  • Keep customers informed of the status of their shipments.
  • Receive purchase orders from customers and analyze their needs.
  • Communicate with the various stakeholders in order to offer a high quality service.
  • Bringing innovative solutions to customers.
  • Transmit relevant or problematic information to the right people without delay.
  • Open a transport file and perform data entry into the operational system according to the company's ISO standards.
  • Arrange pick-ups and deliveries with proof according to bookings.
  • Coordinate and make space reservations, receive bills of lading and follow up with the CEVA Group network and the various interlocutors to ensure that shipments are shipped on the scheduled date.
  • Prepare and transmit arrival notices, appropriate documents, proof of insurance to the client and customs broker within the prescribed deadlines.
  • Provide suppliers with written notice of the particulars of the shipment, including rates.
  • Maintain mailing records and inform customers and the CEVA Group's network.
  • Invoice clients making sure to verify that all charges for the services given are included and that the costs are according to the agreements (if necessary, check the credit with the accounting department).
  • Comply with the procedures established according to the rules of CEVA and within the prescribed deadlines (Performance Indicators).
  • Draw up formal notices and follow up on claims.
  • Issue non-conformities and customer complaints in accordance with ISO procedures.
  • Complete the training required for this position including, but not limited to the transportation of hazardous materials, the proper distribution of pharmaceutical products.
  • Other tasks defined by the immediate supervisor.
