Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Customer Service Agent acts as a true partner to the client and the sales team, ensuring rigorous and personalized follow-up of client files. He/she plays a key role in the customer experience by coordinating requests, facilitating operations, and actively contributing to customer satisfaction and loyalty. This role goes beyond simple call taking: it is a strategic sales support position, requiring autonomy, organizational skills, and a proactive approach.

Requirements

  • Professional or college diploma.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience with demonstrated ability in customer service and/or other sales support roles.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (8/10 and +).
  • Ability to perform under pressure, sense of urgency, and proactivity.
  • Autonomy and a developed sense of responsibility.
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • High ability to adapt to new ways of doing things and to a highly dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and priority management in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to solve problems effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Actively support salespeople by actively monitoring the various communication channels through which customers can contact our organization.
  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries.
  • Monitor the needs of current customers.
  • Ensure the proper end-to-end coordination of customer orders, from submission to product delivery, including coordination of transport and customs brokers (order fulfillment).
  • Actively support the Director of Marketing by keeping customer documentation up to date (spec sheet, master agreement, demo deck, etc.).
  • Ensure the monitoring and management of inventories in relation to our offer available on Amazon.ca and other retail sales portals.
  • Participate in process improvement activities related to customer service.
  • Provide punctual logistical and administrative support to allow the team to focus on sales, by collaborating closely with accounting, delivery, warehousing, and transport logistics.
