About The Position

Agent Builders at hyperexponential help scale the company’s US expansion by turning customer problems into AI agents that are used in everyday insurance work. The role combines engineering and solutions leadership, with frequent customer interaction from the first custom demo through onsite bootcamps, production deployment, and customer expansion. The role sits within Field Engineering, the technical core of the go-to-market organization. Field Engineering works across product, sales, and customer success, partnering with underwriters, actuaries, IT, and security leaders to design trusted solutions for critical pricing and underwriting decisions. Agent Builders lead technical customer engagements, collaborate with sales and product teams, and share field learnings to inform product development. The broader team works on complex integration and implementation challenges for insurers. hyperexponential (hx) builds an agentic platform for commercial insurance underwriting, bringing together data, models, AI, and human judgment. The company has nearly 300 people across London, New York, and Warsaw, and its platform supports underwriting across more than $75 billion of annual commercial property and casualty premium. The culture emphasizes ownership, high expectations, collaboration, and using AI tools to improve the quality and ambition of work.
