About The Position

This internship opportunity is described as fun, challenging, and providing great real-world experience. The intern will work in a fast-paced environment and have the opportunity to make valuable contributions to the Agency Training and Development Team. The program follows an 80/10/10 approach: 80% meaningful work and project-based assignments, 10% learning from and networking with employees in other areas, and 10% participating in shared internship experiences for insight into culture, leadership, and business operations.

Requirements

• Current college student (working towards a degree in communication, hospitality, business, or marketing preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
• Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work in-person from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis

Responsibilities

• Preparing for and sitting in on agent training events
• Assisting with administrative functions of the Learning Management System
• Managing the training webinar process
• Creating survey reports
• Participating in team meetings
• Assisting with instructional design projects (potential)
• Participating in corporate activities for exposure to industry, organization, and culture
