About The Position

The Agency Services Relationship Representative is accountable for the daily management and business relationship between the Company and a specific group of independent agents. The area of focus is for agencies enrolled in an Agency Services program, which includes Service Center, Remarketing, and Sales Development Program. Territory includes New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Responsibilities include onboarding new independent agencies, communicating service level metrics, implementing and monitoring various sales programs, and training all levels within the agency regarding service functions. We strive to be a valued extension of the agency teams we support, focusing on streamlining operations, optimizing agent performance, and fostering strong relationships between Plymouth Rock Assurance and our independent agency partners.

Requirements

  • 1+ Years of experience working with Independent Agents required.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and/or a minimum of 2 years of overall insurance experience required.
  • Proven sales skills. Must have the ability to close or complete the sale.
  • Strong communication skills both orally and written. Ability to perform presentations in a large group or work one-on-one at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage change and conflict.
  • Ability to work independently, away from the office. Must be focused and self-motivated.
  • Ability to interpret, assimilate, and translate data.
  • Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong Personal Lines product knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the book roll production goals for each agent based on their individual action plan developed in collaboration with the Territory Sales Manager
  • Communicate book roll, service center, and/or sales development program results to agents, and modify agent behavior to achieve any production commitments
  • Assist with agency training initiatives
  • Identify and communicate service problems to the appropriate internal staff, address and resolve the issue, and communicate the resolution to the agent
  • Develop and maintain a thorough and in-depth knowledge of all company products, guidelines, and procedures
  • Manage relationships with enrolled Service Center agencies through regular meetings and communication
  • Support agencies throughout the Book Roll process from commitment through implementation
  • Utilize Sales Development Program training resources to improve agency conversion and retention results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and ensure cohesive messaging across platforms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
