About The Position

Preferred Professional Services (PPS), an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is hiring Registered Nurses to support residents in long-term care and rehabilitation facilities. The role focuses on ensuring residents’ health, comfort, and well-being through nursing assessments, individualized care planning, medication and treatment administration, monitoring, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. The RN Supervisor also guides Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurse Assistants in delivering quality care. Per diem shifts are available, including opportunities for temp-to-hire. The position offers weekly pay and a starting rate of $65.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Interest in the nursing needs of older adults and chronically ill patients, with the ability to work with both.
• Strong clinical skills and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and IV therapies.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
• Oversee and guide Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in providing quality care.
