About The Position

Food Lifeline is seeking an Agency Relations Coordinator to cultivate strong relationships with its member agency network. This role involves providing responsive, hands-on support to food banks, pantries, meal programs, shelters, and other community partners across Western Washington. The position is highly collaborative and relationship-focused, acting as a liaison between Food Lifeline and assigned member agencies. Responsibilities include offering customer service, technical assistance, training, and operational support. The coordinator will guide agencies through Food Lifeline's requirements and processes, conduct on-site monitoring visits, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and remove barriers to effective food distribution. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, building trust, solving problems, and supporting partner success. Key skills include clear communication, professional and empathetic handling of challenging conversations, managing multiple priorities, and cross-team collaboration. Experience in customer service, account management, project coordination, nonprofit or community-based programs, food access, or other relationship-centered environments is valued. Familiarity with food safety, compliance monitoring, data management systems, and government food distribution programs is considered a plus.
