Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate degree or coursework in business, finance, or insurance preferred.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in insurance, administrative support, or operations within a P&C agency or brokerage environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with agency management systems such as Applied Epic, AMS360, or Vertafore tools.
  • Strong understanding of commercial P&C insurance fundamentals, including certificates, endorsements, general liability, property, auto, and workers’ compensation (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a professional customer service mindset and willingness to support various operational functions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the commercial lines team to ensure efficient workflow across client service, underwriting coordination, and internal processes.
  • Assist Account Managers, Producers, and Operations leadership with daily tasks that uphold agency service standards and compliance procedures.
  • Maintain accuracy and organization of client data, documents, and transactions within agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic).
  • Act as a central communication point for internal team members, carriers, and vendors to support timely servicing and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to process improvement by identifying workflow gaps and recommending operational enhancements.
  • Support agency initiatives related to quality assurance, documentation integrity, and operational best practices.
