We are currently seeking a hands-on Agency Management Systems Specialist to join our high-growth, fast-paced company. This position will report to an AMS Manager and play a key role in onboarding and supporting acquired agencies with agency management system (“AMS”) and some accounting responsibilities. Desire to work at a growth-oriented business with a focus on acquisitions and integrations is highly valued. The chosen candidate will be a team player and will assist with all elements of the integration and onboarding of new agencies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience working with small to mid-size agencies.
  • Experience in system integration or ready to take next step into this role.
  • Experience with total G/L and Financial Reporting responsibility.
  • Proficiency in Applied EPIC and AMS360.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and preferably PowerPoint, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Must be able to multitask and meet agreed upon deadlines.
  • Local to the greater Chicago area

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in reconciling carrier commission statements a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team with the integration process for Superior agencies, including AMS data entry, download setup, carrier codes, lines of business, activities, book of business and employee setup.
  • Gain a deep understanding of key processes and systems, including agency management systems (Applied Epic, AMS360 and other common agency management systems), integrations to Realtime, Epay, CSR24 and various PL and CL raters.
  • Implement connectivity to Ivans for proper download of Policy information, Direct bill commissions, and Edocs.
  • Become the authority on financial and agency management systems used by Superior and drive efficiencies by leveraging technology.
  • Optimize relationships with fellow managers, Software Vendors, other professional business partners, and agency principals and employees.
  • Act as mentor to current accounting staff and assist SR VP of Information and Data in developing a growing team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced/high-growth environment.
