About The Position
Come join the Moon Valley Nurseries team! Moon Valley Nurseries is looking for a Yard Crew Member / Laborer who will be responsible for manual labor related to stocking and fulfillment of customer orders onsite at the nursery’s store. The candidate will receive on-the-job training and will have an opportunity to gain new skills, knowledge and experience.
Requirements
- Ability to perform manual labor.
- Ability to follow specific instructions and safety protocols.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with operating power tools, hand tools, and other equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor to assist in the upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of customer orders in the landscape nursery.
- Haul and mix topsoil, fertilizer, peat moss, and other materials to condition soil, using hand tools.
- Dig, rake, and screen soil to fill buckets and boxes for planting.
- Demonstrated availability to work any day of the week.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
