About The Position

Riverbend Co-op is hiring an Ag Solutions Summer Student in Broderick, SK to join our team for the 2027 season. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in agriculture to gain hands-on experience, spend time in the field, work alongside our Ag team, and build practical skills that connect directly to local producers and our communities. The role involves supporting the day-to-day work of the Ag Solutions division, assisting the team, supporting customers, and gaining exposure to the spring and summer ag season.

Requirements

Current enrolment in post-secondary education in Agronomy, Ag Business, Plant Science, Soil Science, or a related program

Nice To Haves

Previous agriculture experience is an asset, but a willingness to learn and get involved is just as important

Responsibilities

Work with our agronomist and sales team while learning about crop planning, troubleshooting, fertility, and crop protection recommendations
Build confidence working directly with customers, producers, and internal team members
Assist with general inquiries, transactions, and daily operational support
Support field trials and gain real-world exposure to crop production and agronomy work
Take part in training and development opportunities, with potential to grow into future opportunities with the Riverbend Ag team
Other duties as required
