Ag Service Technician
About The Position
21st Century Equipment LLC is hiring an experienced Ag Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment in a professional dealership environment. If you're a skilled diesel technician seeking strong pay, stability, and advancement opportunities, this role offers a clear career path and performance-based earning potential. If a job offer is made for this position, it will be contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug test, background check, and determination of insurability for positions that require driving. If the drug test comes back positive or you are not insurable for a position that requires driving, the job offer will be rescinded.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on diesel repair experience
- Ability to operate vehicles and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- John Deere University (JDU) training
- 10+ years of agricultural equipment experience
- Prior experience with a John Deere dealership
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and recondition agricultural equipment
- Perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Utilize diagnostic software and specialized tools
- Maintain safety standards in shop and field environments
- Complete accurate repair documentation
- Participate in ongoing technical training, including John Deere systems and diesel technologies
