Requirements

One or more years of equipment service or repair experience preferred.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to perform repairs using technical manuals, specialized tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong communication and computer skills, including experience with service software.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Must maintain a good driving record in compliance with company Motor Vehicle Records criteria throughout employment.
Must pass a DOT physical and renew certification annually as a condition of continued employment.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and work a flexible schedule when needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on agricultural, turf, and precision ag (AMS) equipment.
Communicate maintenance recommendations and repair findings with customers and Service Manager as well as document work performed.
Participate in ongoing technical training to expand your skills and stay current on John Deere and competitive equipment.
Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment while keeping a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Complete work orders accurately and account for labor and materials used.
Follow all dealership safety standards and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
