About The Position

The AG SALES SPECIALIST works under the direction of the AG/OTR Sales Manager and is responsible for growing the Ag and OTR tire sales for K&M Tire in a designated region. This role requires extensive knowledge of the product and customers.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and ability to use the following office equipment: computer, telephone, copier, fax, and calculator.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of sales experience in the Commercial Tire Market

Responsibilities

  • Increase Ag/OTR tire sales to produce maximum GP.
  • Work with and provide training and assistance to our dealers.
  • Assistance with tire warranties and adjustments.
  • Maintain current customer's sales and developing new business.
  • Keep informed of current training to ensure customers receive the best sales/service possible.
  • Responsible for growing the ag/otr tire sales in the assigned territory while maintaining a high level of GP.
  • Prospecting to new accounts.
  • Maintain current customers and help secure new ag/otr customers for our dealers.
  • Must be knowledgeable of products and programs K&M has to offer with AG/OTR tires.
  • Assist in getting slow moving AG/OTR tire inventory sold.
  • Attend AG shows within K&M Tire sales territory.
  • Performs related work as required in a team atmosphere.
  • Present a clean, neat, professional appearance.
  • Make it easy and convenient to do business with K&M Tire.
  • Anything else needed to help obtain the goals of K&M Tire.
