About The Position

This position is headquartered at our Loan Center in Peru, IN. The role involves the daily processing of payments and all associated responsibilities. It also includes performing administrative and clerical duties inherent to the processing of ag loans. The assistant will help members with their ag loan applications and answer inquiries regarding Beacon Credit Union products and services in a courteous and professional manner.

Requirements

  • One to three years of loan or related credit union experience
  • High school diploma or HSE
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate (both oral and written)
  • Ability to foster sound relationships with other entities
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Excellent judgment
  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy, in addition to courtesy and tact
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

Responsibilities

  • Processes payments, documents outgoing wires, and tracks and files UCC's.
  • Enters all appropriate data into Suntell LMS in order to track all documentation associated with a loan file / borrower relationship.
  • Tracks all documentation.
  • Enters all appropriate data into Suntell SDI in order to image all documentation associated with a loan file / borrower relationship and then images all documents.
  • Prepares modification and extension agreements and makes appropriate changes on core.
  • Monitors real estate taxes and reports and issues to loan offer and management.
  • Mail and tracks the return of Notice to Potential Buyers.
  • Answers telephone calls and assists with walk-in member traffic at the office.
  • Performs loan processing functions and other related duties as needed.
