Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with travel and overnight stays as needed Recruiter: Tammie Stacye/[email protected] You will install and maintain cryogenic pressure vessels and associated equipment in industrial, medical, specialty gas, and welding markets. Install, maintain and remove cryogenic pressure vessels in the Airgas customer base. Gases include (but are not limited to) oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, hydrogen, acetylene, carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide. Install, maintain and remove associated cryogenic equipment at Airgas and customer owned facilities to include vaporizers, cryopumps, final lines, gas mixers, auto-changeovers, external alarm panels, exterior piping and telemetry units. Install, maintain and remove gaseous systems to include nitrogen generators/membranes, air compressors, HP/LP reserve systems, auto-switchovers and fill plant systems. Perform preventative maintenance checks, on a regularly scheduled basis, of all Cryogenic Department assets. Perform emergency corrective maintenance on Airgas and customer owned assets. Perform site surveys at prospective customer locations to determine proper placement and sizing of potential equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The associate must regularly lift and move more than 60 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
Ability to use hand tools (electrical and manual) in a safe manner.
Must be willing to be away from home for up to 5 days at a time (Monday through Friday) for installations, trouble calls and certification schools.
Must be able to be on-call 24 hours a day.
Must be able to work in confined areas to run piping for customer use lines and fill lines.
Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
Must be detail-oriented to complete paperwork each day and maintain customer records.
Must be able to read and comprehend all written and computer generated documents.
