About The Position

Beansprouts is looking for part-time After-School Counselors for the 2026-27 school year! Founded in 1980 in Park Slope, Brooklyn, Beansprouts offers preschool, after-school, and day camp programming and serves children from ages 1.9 to 9. Requirements

Must possess an Associates degree, be enrolled in a Bachelors degree program, or equivalent
Must have at least 2 years experience working with children
Must be able to work Monday - Friday from 2:30 pm to 6 pm
Must be willing to complete school-related training, IdentoGO fingerprinting, and provide up-to-date medical and immunization records as a condition of employment
Should demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and be team-oriented, nurturing, patient, and reliable
Should be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, which may include lifting children and year-round outdoor activities
As per the Department of Health Regulations, a clearance check and medical will be required for employment.
