About The Position

The After School Teacher plays an essential role in supporting daily school operations and creating a positive, structured environment for students outside regular instructional hours. You will supervise indoor and outdoor play, lead activities, assist with snacks, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment where students can learn, play, and build relationships. You will also plan and facilitate after-school arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities, collaborate with school teams to support a consistent and positive student experience, and ensure the safe supervision and care of students during before and after school program hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks
• Dependable, positive, and committed to supporting student well-being
• Strong communication and supervision skills
• Frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language
• Often carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend
• Regularly hear and use clear vision with or without correction

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with children preferred
