About The Position
Kennedy International School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Afterschool Arabic Teacher to join their afterschool program. The ideal candidate will create a positive, engaging, and interactive learning environment while introducing students to the Arabic language and culture. Students are grouped according to their age/grade level band, and sessions are one-hour long. The position requires availability for the full 2026-2027 school year.
Requirements
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Previous teaching experience required
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with students from preschool to elementary school preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Teach beginner to intermediate Arabic language skills to pre-school to elementary aged students
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Effectively manage the classroom and address students’ behavior issues in a positive, professional manner
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Communicate effectively with afterschool management regarding student and program-related matters
Benefits
- The hourly rate for this position will be $50 per hour.
