The Assistant Teacher supports the Montessori Guide or Lead Teacher in all classroom areas. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field.
- Completed a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.
Nice To Haves
- Montessori training, certification, or experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Working with a Montessori Guide or Lead Teacher, facilitate fun and interactive learning experiences in an authentic Montessori classroom.
- Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan activities for children, as well as effectively communicate with families under the guidance of your lead teacher/guide.
- Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care and development topics.
