About The Position

Eaton’s Aerospace Group is seeking an Aftermarket Sales Manager to support our Military OEM portfolio. This position will be based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Travel is expected to be around 20%. The expected annual salary range for this role is $125000 - $184000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you’ll do: In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing military aftermarket sales with major U.S. prime aerospace OEM customers. This role is responsible for building long term relationships with key decision makers within our customer’s aftermarket organizations, driving aftermarket orders/sales and support (spares, repairs, upgrades), and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from and accredited institution
  • Minimum 7 Years in aerospace/defense aftermarket or military sustainment environment
  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing role with major military prime contractors
  • This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8U.S.C. § 1158.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or working closely with teams in a military or government facing sales role
  • Interest and comfortability with doing business development; “hunting” mindset
  • Ability to work in matrixed organization
  • Knowledge of U.S. Government procurement and contracting processes and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Direct aftermarket/MRO sales experience strongly preferred
  • MBA or other Master’s degree from an accredited institution
  • An existing security clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance if needed

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary account manager for aftermarket business for assigned customers; act as the voice of the customer.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at multiple levels within the customer’s organization, transforming relationships into tangible results.
  • Develop intimate knowledge of customer requirements and demand to support order fulfillment and new business growth plans.
  • Identify, develop, and manage a healthy pipeline of new opportunities, with specific focus on retrofits, modifications, and upgrades.
  • Monitor market trends, technology developments, and competitor activities to anticipate customer needs and shape product offerings and go-to-market strategies for the military aftermarket.
  • Work closely with engineering, pricing, and contracts teams to create timely, competitive bids and ensure proposals meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate internally with engineering, program management, customer service, supply chain, and other functions to ensure delivery and support for aftermarket products and services according to contract terms and customer expectations.
