About The Position

The Aftermarket associate must be flexible and willing to learn many different aspects of our Aftermarket Department. The right candidate will be able to work under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor which includes but not limited to select, visually inspect, and hand pack products for shipment to customers. Must be able to label and weigh packaged product to ensure proper handling and shipping. First shift hours are 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Some overtime may be necessary.

Requirements

  • Ability to work from picking slips and part identification codes.
  • Ability to select boxes and packing materials.
  • Ability to form up, tape, or staple paperboard containers.
  • Ability to verify parts count and visually inspect product for conformance to quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Ability to pack and secure products into boxes.
  • Ability to close, stable, tape, or band containers to ensure travel quality.
  • Ability to move pallet(s) of packaged product to scale and shipping, staging areas using manual and/or electric hand trucks.
  • Ability to weigh and label cartons to ensure proper handling.
  • Ability to complete and attach shipping labels as required, ensuring accuracy of all shipping label information and details.
  • Ability to comply with all Safety regulations including “take 5”.
  • Ability to comply with all Quality regulations.
  • Ability to follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
  • Lifting capabilities of 40-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Select parts from finished stock storage areas using picking slips and part identification codes.
  • Prepare and pack products into boxes, including forming, taping, or stapling containers.
  • Verify parts count and visually inspect products for quality conformance and customer specifications.
  • Secure products within boxes for safe transit.
  • Move palletized packaged products to scales and shipping/staging areas using hand trucks.
  • Weigh and label cartons accurately for proper handling and shipping.
  • Complete and attach shipping labels with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of all information.
  • Comply with all safety regulations, including "take 5".
  • Comply with all quality regulations.
  • Follow all cleanup and housekeeping procedures.
