Our CALGARY BRANCH has an exciting opportunity for an AFTERMARKET OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join our team! The Aftermarket Outside Sales Representative embodies the FGI brand by traveling to customers to sell FGI products and services. The successful candidate will work within an established territory with a generous base salary and uncapped commissions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of outside B2B sales experience with a strong customer service focus
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a 5-year clear abstract with no major infractions
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements: Occasionally required to lift and/or move up product from 50 to 100 lbs from floor to waist, travel to customer locations on roadways and highways for long periods of time, frequent sitting, standing and walking at customer location
  • Must have open availability
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment including CRM systems and reporting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with heavy-duty parts sales or similar industry (Agriculture, Equipment, Trailers) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Travel to current and new customers to build strong business relationships and promote the FGI brand and products
  • Utilize our CRM to identify opportunities to sell current and new products to customers
  • Forecast and develop potential sales orders for all customers
  • Provide account reporting outlining customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, market conditions and new sales potential
  • Keep up to date on product applications, technical services, advertising, and promotional trends as they are released
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop leads and support products in the field
  • Participate in training programs with vendors, sales reps and other FGI team members
  • Work closely with regional managers, branch managers, corporate head office and inventory support teams to ensure product and service delivery
  • May deliver parts to customer locations
  • Other duties as assigned
