About The Position

Avid4 Adventure is seeking an Aftercare Supervisor for their Wheat Ridge Basecamp Program. This role involves on-site management, mentorship, and instruction for campers after the regular camp day concludes. The Aftercare Supervisor will be responsible for the care and well-being of campers during pick-up hours, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. This position is based at Peak Expeditionary School in Wheatridge, Colorado.

Requirements

• Must be at least 20 years of age by the start of camp
• Must have a minimum of 460 verifiable hours (approximately 3 months full-time) of childcare experience to meet our Child Care Licensing requirements
• Minimum of Basic First Aid, CPR, and Mandatory Reporter certification by the start of camp

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience working in an Aftercare Program or at a Summer Camp preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise campers by providing age-appropriate, after camp activities while maintaining a safety-oriented environment.
• Organize and participate in camp programming, ranging from games to arts & crafts.
• Responsible for purchasing weekly aftercare program supplies and snacks (budget will be given based on camp size).
• Follow and educate campers on safety protocols to ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants.
• Communicate directly with parents when they arrive for pick up.
