About The Position

The Aftercare Assistant Director at Oklahoma Christian School in Edmond, OK, will monitor students in a safe, orderly, and positive after-school environment. This full-time position reports to the elementary after-care coordinator and the elementary school principal. The assistant director will support the director with any necessary duties and responsibilities, contributing to student behavior by helping them develop as mature, able, and responsible Christian individuals.

Requirements

  • Eighteen years of age with a high school diploma.
  • Previous child care experience.
  • Willing to complete any courses necessary, such as CPR.
  • A lifestyle of biblical integrity.
  • A spirit of dedication, teamwork, flexibility, and responsiveness to counsel.
  • Acceptance without reservation of the OCS Parent Covenant, Statement of Faith, Statement on Marriage and Sexuality, Statement of Diversity, and Core Values.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor students in a safe, orderly, and positive after-school environment.
  • Assist and support the director with any duties or responsibilities as needed.
  • Contribute to student behavior by helping them develop as mature, able, and responsible Christian men and women.
