About The Position

Soccer Shots Southwest Chicagoland is looking for enthusiastic coaches to join our team this fall! Our coaches introduce children ages 2-8 to soccer through engaging, age-appropriate sessions that build confidence, character, and a love for physical activity. No soccer coaching experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive paid training and all the tools you need to be successful. Working with children is not something we take lightly. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping children build confidence, develop important life skills, and experience success both on and off the field. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check.
Ability to work weekday afternoons (starting at approximately 2:00 PM -3:00 PM depending on the day).

Nice To Haves

Experience working with young children is strongly preferred.
Soccer experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Arrive on time and prepared for every session.
Effectively manage groups of 6-10 children.
Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and Soccer Shots leadership.
Be active, enthusiastic, and encouraging.
Be silly, imaginative, and interactive with young children.
Create a fun and positive learning environment.
Represent Soccer Shots positively at all locations.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
