About The Position
The After School Teacher plays an essential role in supporting daily school operations and creating a positive, structured environment for students outside regular instructional hours. You will supervise indoor and outdoor play, lead activities, assist with snacks, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment where students can learn, play, and build relationships.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks
- Dependable, positive, and committed to supporting student well-being
- Strong communication and supervision skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with children preferred
Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate after-school arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities
- Collaborate with school teams to support a consistent and positive student experience
- Ensure the safe supervision and care of students during before and after school program hours
