About The Position

Learn It Systems is hiring multiple Certified Teachers throughout Tucson for the 2026/27 school year, with opportunities to work with students K-12. Learn It Systems is a national education organization dedicated to helping all children succeed in school and life. They seek team members who value collaboration, integrity, and making a difference in students' lives. This is a part-time teaching position focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children in need, working within an interdisciplinary team. The role involves collaborating with the School District of Tucson to deliver high-quality reading and mathematics education in a small group setting. Teachers will implement program components, work closely with school personnel and parents, and support students qualifying for Title I assistance.

Requirements

Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
Computer proficiency required.
Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, and parents.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
Ability to go up and down stairs within a school building.
Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head.
Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Title I students.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with school administrators and classroom teachers to identify Title I students.
Planning and delivering effective instruction in a small group setting.
Administering pre and post assessments.
Consistent tracking of student progress and data.
Effective classroom management.
Escorting students to and from the Title I classroom.
Providing a safe and positive learning environment.
