About The Position

AlphaBEST Education is seeking an After School Site Director / Early Learning Professional for their Prosper, TX location within Prosper ISD. This part-time role offers a starting pay of $20.50 per hour, based on education, with working hours from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The program provides extended day, summer, and enrichment activities designed to inspire and engage students in a fun, safe environment. The Site Director will lead a meaningful after-school program, focusing on child development and a high-quality family experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is confident in leading, prioritizes child safety, and is flexible and reliable.

Requirements

Must have a BA/BS or CDA in education
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
Make child safety the top priority at all times
Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
