After School Site Director / Early Learning Professional
About The Position
AlphaBEST Education is seeking an After School Site Director / Early Learning Professional for their Kemp, TX location within Kemp ISD. This part-time role operates from 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekend work required. The program focuses on providing extended day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students in a fun, safe environment. The Site Director will lead a meaningful after-school program that helps children learn, grow, and thrive. Ideal candidates are early learning professionals who enjoy working with children, are confident in leading and running a smooth program, take pride in delivering a high-quality experience, prioritize child safety, and are flexible, reliable, and adaptable.
Requirements
- Must have a BA/BS or CDA in education
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
- Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
- Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
- Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
- Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
- Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
- Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
- Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
