After School Shuttle Driver (with CDL)
About The Position
The Driver is responsible for providing safe and timely transportation for school age children from 3 local schools to The J. The Driver will use a company-provided 25 passenger bus. Requirements
- Current, valid CDL Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Age 21 or over
- At least 3 years of experience safely operating a commercial vehicle
- Clean driving record with no moving violations within the past three years
- Knowledge of traffic rules and regulations for the State of Kansas
- Must be able to safely operate company vehicles in all weather conditions
- Ability to work with children and provide excellent customer service with kindness, patience and concerns for safety at all times
Responsibilities
- Transport school age children from 3 local elementary schools to The J
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers upon pick-up and drop-off
- Maintain compliance with state regulations regarding the lawful operation of a motor vehicle
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles, inside and out
- Monitor service schedules for vehicles and inform supervisor when service is needed
- Monitor fuel levels of company vehicles, purchase fuel as needed and follow all policies for using company purchase card
