About The Position

The After School Safety & Support Lead will ensure students are released only to authorized adults and monitor campus entry points. This role involves conducting safety checks, supporting emergency drills, and serving as a welcoming presence for students, families, and visitors. The Lead will build positive relationships through responsive communication and excellent customer service, support daily attendance and front desk operations, and assist students needing additional supervision or emotional support. Participation in program events, trainings, and meetings is also expected. This position offers an opportunity to gain experience in education, youth development, leadership, advocacy, and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Available to work consistently during after-school hours throughout the school year.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to supporting diverse youth and families.
  • Must pass required background and TB clearances.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish, Chinese, or other languages)

Responsibilities
