About The Position

The Plaistow YMCA is seeking a dynamic Site Director (Site Coordinator) to lead its After School Program. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about youth development and leadership, including recent graduates or early talent in education, childcare, or leadership. The Site Director will oversee daily operations, support and mentor staff, and create a safe, fun, and enriching environment for elementary-aged children. Key responsibilities include planning engaging activities, ensuring compliance with state childcare licensing, managing administrative tasks, and building strong relationships with families and school partners. This position supports two program sites in Plaistow, NH, and Newton, NH, and is crucial for shaping a growing and impactful program. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a natural leader, and enjoys working with children.

Requirements

• Must be at least 20 years old
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Must meet the requirements for a Site Director in the state of New Hampshire
• Must be certified in NH
• Current resume, transcripts, and work experience must be available for interview
