Requirements

Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or recreational setting
Background or strong interest in visual arts, art education, or a related creative field
Enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing demeanor with school-age children
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent after-school schedule
Must be able to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead engaging, age-appropriate art instruction sessions for school-age children in an after-school program setting
Plan and execute creative art projects aligned with curriculum guidelines and developmental goals
Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Supervise and manage student behavior while fostering creativity and self-expression
Set up and clean up art materials and classroom space before and after each session
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and studio staff regarding student progress
Adapt instruction techniques to accommodate varying skill levels and learning styles
