After School Nanny Position for 4 children
About The Position
A family in Eden Prairie is seeking an energetic, engaging, and trustworthy nanny to become a meaningful part of their family's lives. The ideal candidate will have the energy and enthusiasm to keep up with four active children while creating a fun, structured, and nurturing environment. This family values a screen-free approach to parenting and encourages creativity, reading, outdoor play, and hands-on activities. The nanny will actively participate in the children's day, whether it's reading aloud, playing catch, building forts, or joining in on games. A safe and reliable driver is essential as transportation is part of the role. The family is looking for someone who desires a long-term relationship and can grow with the family, returning year after year to become a trusted and dependable presence. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The day begins with light household support, including tidying children's bedrooms and common living areas, completing children's laundry, preparing snacks and light meal prep, cleaning up after meals, and assisting with occasional pet care. Vacuuming is appreciated but not required. Around 2:30 p.m., the nanny will meet the children at the bus stop, help them with snacks and homework, and guide them through their after-school routine. This includes encouraging age-appropriate responsibilities such as unpacking and repacking backpacks, organizing homework for parent signatures, preparing for the next school day, and completing chores before playtime. The afternoon also includes transporting one of the daughters to gymnastics by 4:20 p.m. for her 4:30 p.m. practice. The family is looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys creating a structured, positive environment while helping the family stay on track each day.

- 3-5 years of experience
- Any type of childcare experience is acceptable
- Organizational experience
- Able to keep the schedule and multi-task
- Knows all of the moving parts
- Follow CDC guidelines and ensure best hygiene practices
