About The Position

A family in Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood is looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive person to provide after-school support for their two children, ages 14 and 17. This role combines local transportation for the kids with household assistance to help keep the family’s busy afternoons and evenings running smoothly.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.
• Dependable, professional, organized, and an excellent communicator.
• Ability to work independently, follow directions, and take initiative with household tasks.

Responsibilities

• Driving the children to and from school activities and other local destinations
• Supervising homework as needed
• Running grocery trips and other family errands
• Preparing dinner and assisting with meal preparation
• Folding laundry and keeping up with dishes
• Following a household task list and helping maintain an organized home
