About The Position

HOKALI is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Jiu Jitsu Educator to lead after-school Jiu Jitsu programs for elementary and middle school students. This role is for instructors passionate about martial arts, enjoy working with children, and are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment. HOKALI's platform simplifies how schools book, organize, and manage after-school programs and camps, helping schools find and book a wide variety of onsite programs to supplement learning and enrich students' extracurricular experiences.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
• Authorization to work in the US
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach age-appropriate Jiu Jitsu techniques and fundamentals to students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
• Foster discipline, respect, confidence, and teamwork through martial arts instruction
• Plan and lead engaging Jiu Jitsu classes and skill-building activities
• Adapt instruction to different ages, skill levels, and learning styles
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe
