About The Position
As a BrightBee Before and After School Group Leader, you’ll support students in local schools—helping them learn, grow, and succeed. We are currently partnered with the YMCA. During your interview we will go into detail about what assignments are available at these sites. The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is. This role offers a great consistent weekly income and is perfect for those who want meaningful and impactful work.
Requirements
- 12 Semester Units in Early Childhood Education/Development
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Pass a background check
- Follow safety and reporting guidelines
- Complete required school clearances

Responsibilities
- Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Keep the space clean and organized
- Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
- Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff
