About The Position

As an After School Group Leader with Kamaʻāina Kids, you'll turn afternoons into opportunities for children to learn, play, build friendships, and discover new interests. Every day brings something different, from leading active games to helping with homework or guiding creative projects. This is a meaningful part-time role where your energy, patience, and leadership can make a real impact.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with elementary-aged children
• Bring enthusiasm, patience, and a positive attitude
• Are dependable and ready to lead by example
• Work well as part of a supportive team
• Want to make a meaningful difference in their community
• Are at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate)

Responsibilities

• Leading games, sports, and recreational activities
• Planning crafts, STEM projects, and enrichment experiences
• Helping students with homework and academic support
• Building positive relationships with children and families
• Encouraging teamwork, kindness, and respectful behavior
• Keeping programs organized, safe, and fun
