About The Position

St. Andrew's Parish Parks & Playground Commission is seeking energetic, dependable individuals who enjoy working with children to join our After School and Day Camp team. If you're enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of youth, we'd love to hear from you! This is a seasonal position where you can make a difference while having fun.

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years old
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Darkness2Light - Stewards of Children certification required (Can provide in-house)
• Must be dependable, enthusiastic, and able to work well as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children is preferred
• Applicants who meet age and licensing requirements may have opportunities to drive agency vehicles

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, age-appropriate games, crafts, sports, and other recreational activities
• Supervise children ages 5-12 in a safe and positive environment
• Assist with homework time and encourage positive behavior
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Maintain clean, organized program areas
• Help create an engaging, welcoming environment where every child can thrive
