About The Position

LIFT Enrichment is seeking enthusiastic Chef Teachers to lead engaging, hands-on cooking workshops for students in Title I schools. Since 2010, LIFT Enrichment has educated over 75,000 students and has a team of more than 200 Chef Teachers. Professional chef experience is not required, as training is provided. This is a seasonal, part-time position with paid training and mileage reimbursement. A typical workday involves teaching two workshops, with approximately 5 hours of paid work covering preparation, teaching, and cleanup.

Responsibilities

Lead groups of 15–20 students (K-8th grade) through hands-on cooking activities.
Teach fun, healthy recipes using provided curriculum.
Introduce children to basic cooking, nutrition, and kitchen safety.
Keep students engaged, excited, and involved.
Manage setup, cooking, and cleanup.
Grocery shop and prep ingredients as needed.
Transport program supplies to the school.
