About The Position
Join LIFT Enrichment as a Chef Teacher and teach healthy culinary workshops in Title I school districts. LIFT Enrichment has taught over 75,000 students since 2010 and is looking for passionate individuals to join their team of 200+ Chef Teachers. This role is ideal for retired teachers or college students seeking seasonal/part-time employment.
Requirements
- Availability between 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM, 2 days per week.
- Experience working with children (e.g., summer camp counselor, retired teacher).
- Cooking experience (basic meals, no formal or professional chef experience required).
- Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Teach healthy culinary workshops in Title I school districts.
- Lead groups of 15–20 students.
- Transport provided culinary kits.
- Teach recipes from the provided curriculum.
- Compensated for grocery shopping, prep, teaching, and cleanup.
