About The Position
This is an after-school position in a public elementary school that follows the school calendar. The role involves being part of a fun, welcoming after-school space for kids, helping them build friendships through games and activities, and being a positive influence on the children's afternoons. The job is part-time and committed to the school year 2026 to 2027.
Requirements
- Enjoys working with school age children
- 18 years or older with an associate’s degree or higher
- 10+ months experience in school-age childcare or youth programming OR Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential OR Vermont Program Director Credential OR Vermont Teacher Licensure OR Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate OR Master’s degree in a youth-related field
- Comfortable working in a structured school setting
